Affiliation scholarships
In addition to academic merit, affiliation scholarships usually require a connection to a specific club, trade union, company, geographic region or demographic group.
Eligibility
Each scholarship has different requirements. Award descriptions are listed on the application.
You must also meet the terms for award eligibility set out in the UBC Senate Regulations.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have registered in at least 24 credits in the previous academic year
- Have an average of at least 75% (with no failed or incomplete courses)
- Be registered in at least 24 credits in the upcoming academic year
Exceptions
Courses in pass/fail or Credit/D/Fail format are not taken into account. Unclassified and qualifying programs are not eligible for these awards.
Students from other post-secondary institutions
If you are attending another BC university or college, read the award descriptions carefully to determine your eligibility. You must provide an official transcript from your last period of full-time study with your application. You must also have been registered in 90% of a full-time course load.
