Picnic
Welcome to Picnic
The Student Wellness team is bringing something to Picnic, and all students are welcome to stop by and see what it’s all about! Come and get little bits of knowledge, snacks, and tidbits to help improve your overall wellness. Picnic is a space for all students, designed to encourage wellbeing, improve food skills, and build community on campus. This space will host a variety of programs and services to help you make healthy decisions.
Although it’s not a food-service space, Picnic will always have free or low-cost food available. Whether it’s in the form of a Food Skill workshop, the SUO Pantry, or grab-and-go breakfast options, all students are welcomed to Picnic, regardless of financial situations.
What’s available at Picnic?
- Food Skills workshops – hands-on cooking classes that explore new and nutritious recipes
- Tips on safe substance use from the Harm Reduction Team (HaRT)
- Free or low-cost food
- Programs and activities
