Degree planning

To graduate with a bachelor’s degree, you need to satisfy all degree requirements as well as all requirements specific to your chosen major (and minor).

Academic Calendar

To see what the requirements are for your degree program and major, check the faculties, schools, and colleges section of the Academic Calendar. Using this section of the Academic Calendar, along with the Degree Navigator (for summer 2024 courses) or the Academic Progress Report (Winter 2024 and beyond) to help stay on track with your degree and major requirements.

Degree Navigator

Note: Degree navigator will only be applicable for summer 2024 courses. For Winter 2024/25 and future degree planning, learn how to view your Academic Progress Report (APR) in Workday.

The degree navigator is an interactive advising tool designed to help you make informed decisions regarding your academic program. The degree navigator helps to:

  • View program requirements
  • View course information as outlined in the UBC Okanagan Academic Calendar
  • Evaluate your progress towards program requirements
  • Plan hypothetical course scenarios for future sessions

Access Degree Navigator

Log into the Student Service Centre (SSC) and click on “Degree Navigator” under “Registration”. The Degree Navigator search field can be used to check your progress towards other specializations or programs.
