How to book an Academic & Career Advising appointment

Appointments are available in-person or by phone/zoom, and can be booked one to three days in advance, depending on the time of year. New appointments are released throughout the day on a rolling basis.

Advising for your unique needs

Advisors have varying specialties and areas of expertise, and not all are equipped to support every issue or student type.

When booking an appointment, you’ll provide your year level and program — this information is used to match you with the right advisor to support you.

How can I see when new appointments become available?

At most times of the year, when you’re booking an appointment you can see all available slots within the next three days (72 hours).

Note: during peak periods throughout the year, appointments may temporarily be released one day (24 hours) in advance instead of three days.

For example, if you’re checking at 9 am, you’ll see any available appointments for 9 am three days from now. If you check back at 9:30 am, more appointments will have been released for 9:30 am three days from now.

If you don’t see any available appointments, keep checking back throughout the day, as new appointments will continually become available every half hour.

Pop-up drop-in advising

Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm between September 23 until early April*

Connect with an Academic and Career Advisor at locations across campus each Wednesday afternoon — no appointment needed. Advisors meet with students in person on a first-come, first-served basis. Feel free to bring a friend or small group if you’re looking for answers to similar questions.

Most locations give Faculty-specific priority. Find your Faculty’s pop-up advising location:
