If you’re ever unsatisfied with your performance in university, you shouldn’t ignore your feelings. Set a goal for yourself and make a plan to achieve it. Talk to your instructors, manage your time well, and improve your study skills. The methods that worked in high school may not be sufficient for the rigours of academic study. If you’re determined to do well in university, you will learn to work smarter.

UBC uses a percentage scale (100%) and equivalent letter grades for grading purposes. To find the grade point average (GPA) equivalent (whether on a 4.0 or 4.33 scale), you will need to view the evaluating body’s scale to make this conversion.
Note: Admissions offices at different schools may evaluate on different scales. To determine your GPA, take the percentage given at UBC and apply it to that school’s admission policy’s grading scale.
