Application deadlines
Winter Outbound (September to April**)
** Note that these are the UBC term dates. Depending on the location of exchange, actual dates can begin as early as July and end as late as August. Please speak to a Go Global Advisor if you have any questions.
Application Status
Applications to Go Global are currently CLOSED. Applications for the 2027-28 academic year will open in early-October, 2026.
DEADLINE:
Go Global has two deadlines each year for Winter Session programs commencing in UBC’s 2027-28 academic year:
Round 1: December 9, 2026 @ 12:00pm (Noon)
- Round 1 applications allow for Term 1, Term 2, Full Year, and Split Year* applications
- All of our partner schools are available during this round
- In the application, each option will have a year listed after it which refers to the respective Winter session.
- Ex/ “Term 1 2027” refers to Sept – Dec 2027, “Term 2 2027” refers to Jan – Apr 2028, etc.
Round 2: April 28, 2027 @ 12:00pm (Noon)
- Round 2 applications only allow for Term 2 and Split Year* applications
- Only those partner schools that did not fill during Round 1 are available
- The list of partner schools available for this round are posted to our Exchange page by early March each year
*Split Year dates are approximately February – November (Term 2 of one winter session, Term 1 of the next)

Summer Abroad (May – Aug)

Applications to Go Global are currently CLOSED.

Go Global has one deadline each year for Summer Abroad programs for Summer 2027: December 9, 2026 @ 12:00pm (Noon)

Q&A sessions
All Q&A Sessions are hosted on Zoom.
