Tips on communicating with IRCC
We offer a wide variety of learning resources, supports, and services that help students become confident and independent learners. We encourage all students to access support early and often!
Academic Essentials includes three free, not-for-credit online courses to support your student with academic readiness, refreshing concepts and fundamentals in math and academic reading and writing, and their transition to UBC.
The Student Learning Hub is the one-stop-shop for learning support that is not only free, but flexible, accessible, and catered to your student’s individual needs.
Indigenous Programs and Services offers free academic tutoring for students in a number of different disciplines.
Your student now has access to one of the largest research collections in Canada with journal articles and books to support every subject studied at UBC. The UBC Okanagan Library is the place to begin your university-level research.
Encourage your student to connect with their professors and teaching assistants during office hours as it is a great way for them to get to know their instructors and get extra help.
