Create is UBC’s official welcome to all new students attending the Okanagan campus. The event is a one-day orientation that serves to introduce all new students to campus and community resources.

Quick facts about Create

• Approximately 2,000 new students enter UBCO each year
• Over 1,500 students attended Create last year
• Create takes place annually on Labour Day
• This event is supported by more than 250 students, staff, and faculty

In the afternoon, students are given free time to explore and learn more about campus and community partners, student resources, and involvement opportunities at Showcase.

For businesses, organizations, and community partners, Create is an excellent opportunity to share your message with students attending UBC’s Okanagan campus.
