Virtual Art Hive Group

Happening 10:30 am to 12 pm on Tuesdays until February 15.

Join Student Wellness for a session of art, wellness, and connection!

Create, de-stress, connect. No art experience required. Basic art supplies such as paper, pen/pencil and any medium you like to colour with is recommended. If you have collage images or old magazines, have them handy.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Healthy Masculinities Group

Tuesdays from 3–4:30 pm, starting February 8

This 8-week group helps male-identified campus members discuss topics surrounding masculinity including roles and stereotypes, mental health, relationships, consent and more. Participants have the chance to learn, engage in interesting dialogue, share from their own experiences and expand their friend base on campus.

Y Mind

Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:30 pm from February 9 to March 30, 2022 in the UBCO Nechako Gathering Room

Y Mind is a group for students who want to learn how to manage stress and anxiety. Participants will learn simple ways of coping with worry, negative thoughts and rumination, as well as strategies for calming the body and mind. A three-month membership to the Kelowna Family Y is included for group participants. For more information contact ymind@ymcaokanagan.ca.

Managing school? Balancing a social life? Living with roommates? Join these weekly open sessions to learn how to foster work-life balance to thrive both academically and socially.

International Students are welcome to join every Tuesday from 2:30 to 4 pm starting February 8 in the Nechako Gathering Room.
