Virtual Art Hive Group

Tuesdays from 10:30 am – 12 pm noon PT

An opportunity to create, de-stress, and connect though art making. No experience necessary. This group is open to UBCO and UBCV students. To register, please email Sophie at sophie.vinette@ubc.ca. A link will be sent to you.

Y Mind

Wednesdays from 6:30–8:30 pm PT from October 20 to December 8, 2021.

Y Mind is a group for students who want to learn how to manage stress an anxiety. Participants will learn simple ways of coping with worry, negative thoughts and rumination, as well as strategies for calming the body and mind. A three month membership to the Kelowna Family Y is included for group participants. For more information contact ymind@ymcaokanagan.ca. We will be hosting information sessions on September 29 and October 6 for all interested students.
