The 5 W's of Create
You! Create is geared toward all New-to-UBC students. Whether you are new to university, transferring from another institution, a mature student, or a graduate student, Create is for you!
Create is our favourite day of the year! It is UBC's Okanagan campus' new student orientation program, a day-long series of events designed especially for the newest members of our close-knit campus community. We know coming to a new school can be a little nerve wracking, but we'll walk with you as you take your first steps as a new UBC student, and we'll give you the tools to launch you on your path to success.
During Create, you'll learn about the people, places, activities, and resources available to you at UBC's Okanagan campus. You'll meet lots of other students – some new and some not-so-new – as you explore your new university home. We'll also introduce you to faculty VIP's and give you the program-specific info you'll need to get started on the right academic path. Throw in some entertainment, food, prizes, and UBC loot, and you've got a fun-filled, jam-packed day to remember! Oh, and did we mention it's free?
Bright and early, Tuesday September 5th!

Orientation for Graduate Students
Create is UBC's Okanagan campus' new student orientation program. It is a day-long series of events aimed at giving the newest members of our campus community information about the people, places, activities, and resources available at UBC's Okanagan campus. While all new students are invited to be a part of Create day, the College of Graduate Studies' orientation will be most suited to graduate students.
All students, undergraduate and graduate alike, are welcome to join us for Create's Showcase event between 1 and 4 pm behind the University Centre, where students can learn about resources, campus partners, and community partners.
Graduate Students: Please note, if you have not already done so, you must email the College of Graduate Studies at firstname.lastname@example.org to accept, decline or request to defer your admission offer.
