Now that you have made the decision to attend UBC’s Okanagan campus, it’s time to get to know UBCO and begin to discover your community on campus. Indigenous Student Orientation is open to all First Nation (status and non-status), Métis, and Inuit students new to UBC’s Okanagan campus. Learn more about Indigenous self-identification
Whether you are coming to the Okanagan for the first time or live here, Indigenous Student Orientation (ISO) is designed to help undergraduate and graduate students prepare for a successful start at UBC Okanagan and develop connections and meaningful relationships.
ISO will be held on September 1 at 12 pm.
WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION | 12 pm
Welcome to the University of British Columbia and introduction to staff and student staff.
LUNCH | 12:20 pm
Enjoy a complimentary lunch and time to get to know each other.
ACTIVITIES | 1 pm
Meet some of your fellow students through a series of fun games and activities and get to know your campus with a mini scavenger hunt!
DOOR PRIZES AND CLOSING | 2:25 pm
Attend ISO and you can enter to win some amazing door prizes!
