Indigenous Pathways to Graduate Studies
Program overview
Over the course of the Winter academic session, undergraduate students interested in exploring graduate-level education will:
- Strengthen their understanding of graduate studies and the application process;
- Network with UBC Okanagan students, staff and faculty;
- Discover opportunities for different pathways to graduate studies programs;
- Participate in a mix of mandatory and optional workshops, events, social gatherings, and cultural activities.
Eligibility
Students eligible include those who:
- have self-identified as Indigenous,
- will be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at UBC’s Okanagan Campus in the 2024/25 Winter Session (September-April),
- will have second-year standing or above,
- are interested in exploring the pursuit of graduate-level education in the future (e.g., master’s degree, doctoral/PhD degree), and

October to December will have 1-on-1 sessions and supports. January to March will have some workshops and activities, but to a lesser degree than Term 1.
