About transfer credit
You will only have access to the “Transfer Credit” page in Workday if you have been awarded transfer credit. Learn more about transfer credit terms.
The following transfer credits are shown in Workday:
- “Credit from Coursework” refers to transfer credit from other post-secondary institutions.
- “Credit from Exams” refers to transfer credit from high school and AP or IB coursework.
How to check your transfer credit
First, go to your profile in Workday
- Log into your Workday account at myworkday.bc.ca.
- On the Workday home screen, click your user icon in the top right corner.
- Click the “View Profile” button in the pop-up menu.
Next, go to your transfer credit
- Once you’re in your profile, click the “Academics” tab in the left menu.
- In the “Academics” page, click the “Transfer Credit” tab in the top menu. You will only see this tab in the menu if you have been awarded transfer credit.
Review your transfer credit
Credit from coursework
On the “Transfer Credit” page, under “Credit from Coursework”, you’ll find a table showing the UBC courses and credits you’ve received credit for, along with details of the post-secondary course and institution where you earned the credits.
First-year credit from high school and AP/IB
On the “Transfer Credit” page, scroll down to “Credit from Exams”. You’ll find a table showing the UBC courses and credits you’ve received credit for, along with details about the class or high school program where you earned those credits.

Commonly encountered problems
If you have transfer credits but can’t access the “Transfer Credit” page, or you are missing transfer credits, contact an advisor for assistance.
If you have transfer credits but have not submitted your final transcript please, upload your transcript(s) and allow 4 – 6 weeks for these documents to be processed.
