| Before you proceed:
Before starting the application, make sure the time zone in your LFSM settings is set up as (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (Canada/Pacific). If your time zone is incorrect, the system may display an incorrect bursary deadline. The deadline on the UBC Bursary program webpage takes precedence:

Go to the bursary application
Current UBC students can apply for the bursary program by logging into the Learner Financial Support Management system directly at lfsm.ubc.ca.
Current students can also access the application through Workday:
- Log into your Workday account at myworkday.ubc.ca.
- Select “Student” in the navigation bar on the left.
- Select “Finances”.
- In the “Learner Financial Support Management” menu, click the “Learner Financial Support Management” link.
Complete the bursary application
- Click on the waffle menu in the upper right corner.
- Select “LFSM-Award Application”.
3. Click on the + button in the upper right corner to start a new Financial Profile: UBC Bursary application. This Financial Profile is the award application for the UBC Bursary program.
4. A pop-up window will appear (please enable pop-ups in your web browser).
- You can navigate through each section by clicking the section title in the left menu.
5. Read the “Welcome” section and select the checkbox.
6. Read the “Before you Apply” section and select the checkbox.
7. In the “Bursary Cycle” section, select the bursary cycle you are applying for to start your bursary application. For example, 2026 Winter Session, 2027 Summer Session, etc..
8. After selecting the bursary cycle to start your application, the left menu will display all the sections of the bursary application.
9. Complete all sections of the application or select the “Save Draft” button if you wish to complete it later.
10. Once you have completed all sections of the UBC Bursary application, read through the terms and conditions and select the declaration checkbox.
11. Click the “Submit” button.
To continue a draft application or make changes to your UBC Bursary application, go to the LFSM-Award Application homepage and click the pen icon. You will be able to continue editing your application until the application deadline. If you do not complete and submit your bursary application, it will not be considered.
