1. Use your CWL to log into lfsm.ubc.ca
2. You will be directed to the Home page. Click on the Waffle Menu at the top right corner, then click on “LFSM-Award Application”.
3. Once you are in the LFSM-Award Application app, you will see “My Financial Profiles” in the left navigation menu. Financial Profile is the award application for UBC Bursary.
4. Click on the + Button at the top right corner to start a new Financial Profile: UBC Bursary application.
5. A pop-up window will display the Financial Profile: UBC Bursary application. The first two sections, “Welcome” and “Before you Apply”, include information that you must read through. Indicate that you have read and understood the information by checking the checkbox at the bottom of each section.
6. You can navigate to the next section of the Financial Profile by clicking on the section icon and header on the left.
7. After completing the review of the Welcome and Before you Apply sections, you will select the Bursary Cycle to start your Bursary application.
8. After selecting the Bursary Cycle to start your application, the left navigation menu will display all the sections of the Bursary application.
9. Click through each section of the application to fill out the information. When the section is complete, the icon in the left navigation menu will turn green.
- You can click on “Save Draft” at any time after you start filling out the application.
- After clicking “Save Draft”, you can find your application draft in the “My Financial Profiles” section on the main page of the LFSM-Award Application app. Click on the pen icon to continue filling out your application.
- If you see a “?” icon next to the question, you can click on it to display more information about the question.
10. When you have completed all sections of the Financial Profile: UBC Bursary application, you will need to read through the Terms and Conditions and check the declaration before you can submit your application.
11. After submitting your Financial Profile: UBC Bursary application, you can find the application in the My Financial Profiles page of the LFSM-Award application app.
If the application deadlines has not passed, you can click on the pen icon to edit the application and submit it with any updated information. However, once the application deadline has passed, you will not be able to edit the application.
