Adding your Social Insurance Number (SIN) or Individual Tax Number (ITN)

If you have a previous student or employee record at UBC, you may see an alert indicating that the national identifier (SIN) you entered is already in use. This is expected. Please dismiss the alert, ensure all required fields are completed, and then submit your update.

This tutorial applies to both undergraduate and graduate students on the Okanagan campus.

If you’re a former student or alumni who can’t log into Workday, contact Enrolment Services Advising for support with adding or updating your SIN or ITN.
