Jump Start is UBC’s official welcome to all new students attending the Okanagan campus. The event is a multi-day orientation that serves to introduce all new students to campus and community resources.

More than 3,000 new students begin their studies at UBCO each year, including…

• Approx. 250 graduate students
• Approx. 2,150 students joining directly from high school
• ~17% from institutions outside of Canada
• ~83% from institutions within Canada

At our Showcase information fair, students are given free time to explore and learn more about campus and community partners, student resources, and involvement opportunities.

For businesses, organizations, and community partners, Jump Start is an excellent opportunity to share your message with students attending UBC’s Okanagan campus.
