International Programs and Services

The Global Spectrum blog is a part of the Intercultural Development Program (IDP) at International Programs and Services (IPS) The blog contributions are by students and supported by IPS staff. The Global Spectrum serves as a link between UBC’s Okanagan campus and the world by addressing issues important to students. The Global Spectrum relies on foundations of inclusivity and seeks to increase involvement, equity, diversity, and community within the International Programs and Services Department by featuring cultural events, sharing cultural expression, and organizing/promoting social events on campus and in the community.  Our team works to ensure that the stories, perspectives and experiences of diverse students who are committed to social justice issues are shared, including their work to reduce marginalization related to class, colonization, ability, age, gender, race, body type and sexuality are recognized.

Visit the Global Spectrum website! Read more about blogs, workshops, and submissions from our students!
