Ordering diplomas

If you have already graduated and need a replacement or certified copy of your diploma, you can order one online or in person.  Original diploma is required for certified copy requests.

Processing Time

  • 1-5 business days

Ordering methods



  • Log into the Student Service Centre (SSC) and select Grades & Records > Order Replacement/Certified Copy
  • Submit the request and pay with VISA or MasterCard
  • If you don't have a CWL account, enter your student number and use your birthdate (yymmdd) as password
  • If you don't remember your student number, CWL login, or password, contact Student Services

In person

  1. Submit payment for your request to Student Services with the attached form:
  2. Pay by cheque, money order, debit card, VISA, or MasterCard
  3. Bring proof of payment and request form to Enrolment Services (UNC 322)
  4. Bring photo identification to pick up your diploma or copy


Pick-up and delivery information

Picking up diplomas and certified copies

  • We will contact you when your replacement diploma or certified copy is available for pick up from Enrolment Services (UNC 322)
  • Bring photo ID with a name matching the name on the diploma for pickup
  • If you’ve requested a name change, please provide proof of the change
  • If someone is picking up a diploma on your behalf you must first complete the Third Party Authorization for document pickup form found in the SSC under Personal Information.  You will provide a password to the third party that will need to be verified upon pickup.  The third party is also required to provide ID.  Please note that documents such as replacement diplomas must be ordered prior to pickup.  They cannot be ordered in person by the third party.

        Mailed diplomas and certified copies

Replacement diplomas or certified copies will be mailed out via Canada Post as soon as they are processed. Check processing times above for details on ordering methods and processing/printing time.

Important information

  • The student or alumnus must order the replacement diploma, or certified copy, themselves, even if a third party is authorized to pick it up.
  • We can’t accept payment for diploma orders via email or fax due to credit card security policies
  • If you’re on financial hold you won’t be able to order a replacement diploma, or certified copy -- please contact Student Services about paying overdue fees
  • Orders won’t be printed until payment is received in full
  • Couriers cannot deliver to PO Boxes
