Purchasing Textbooks

Starting mid-August, students have three options:

  1. Order your books online and have them delivered
  2. Order your books online and pick them up at the dedicated pick up location on campus
  3. Shop in store
Note: there will be a limit of 40 customers in the store at one time. Customers will have to follow health guidelines including one-way traffic, using hand sanitation stations and leaving any food and beverage at the front of the store.

Students are strongly encouraged to order digital materials this semester, as the bookstore is predicting a massive number of online orders that may result in shipping delays.

The bookstore has found digital options wherever possible to assist with your online learning. Students can receive their books immediately by choosing digital options.

As always, students can check their course syllabus, provided by their instructors, for their course list. You can also enter your student number on the bookstore course materials page to view course requirements.

More information will be available on the UBC bookstore website in mid-August.
