Book an appointment


Appointments are required for French and Spanish tutoring, and recommended for writing consultations, English development support, and study skills support.

To book an appointment online, follow the directions outlined below.


If you are a graduate student, post-doc, or faculty member, make an appointment with the Centre for Scholarly Communication.

Have an account?


Once you have logged in, you can view the schedule. Adjust the schedule by selecting from the drop-down menu.

How to book an appointment

Writing consultations” for help with your writing assignment.

Academic conversation” for help with English language development.

French and Spanish appointments for written and oral language help.

Learning skills appointments” for help with learning strategies.

For some schedules, you can access the “limit to” function
to limit your search.

Click on a white space to book that date/time. Blue, grey, and dark purple spaces are unavailable.

If all appointments are booked, add yourself to the waiting list by clicking on “waiting list” at the bottom right of the date that you would like to book an appointment.

When you click on a white space, a window will pop up. Fill in information regarding the requested appointment.

You can adjust the amount of time up to an hour by using the drop down menu.

(If you don’t see a pop-up, check behind your current window or make sure that your browser allows pop-ups.)

Your appointment will show up on the schedule in yellow.

Click on the yellow appointment time and adjust or select “cancel” at the bottom of the appointment pop-up window.

*Most appointments must be cancelled at least 8 hours in advance.
